Welcome to Lundia
We have compiled important information that may be useful during your stay with us.
Please read more under the different sections (tab or curtain menu).

Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM.
The reception is staffed from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sundays. Please note that exceptions may occur, but the reception at Grand Hotel (located at Bantorget 1, approximately 100 meters from Hotel Lundia) is open 24/7 and provides service to Hotel Lundia guests. There is a phone in the lobby that connects directly to the Grand Hotel reception.
During the hours when the reception is staffed, our bar and bistro are also open. Here, you can order wine, beer, soft drinks, and light meals.
It is also possible to check in and out outside of reception hours via the kiosk in our lobby.

Breakfast is served on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and on weekends from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

As a guest at Hotel Lundia, you receive a 20% discount on the Grand Hotel’s magnificent breakfast buffet (regular price is SEK 295).
During the summer period (June 23 – August 10), we welcome all our young guests to Grand Hotel’s summer cinema in the Piraten Room on the entrance floor. Free admission!

In the linen room on the second floor, there is a first aid kit with plasters, wound cleanser, and more. The door can be opened with your room key.
A defibrillator is available in the lobby.
If the fire alarm sounds and the hotel needs to be evacuated, the assembly point is located just outside, next to the store called Naturkompaniet.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel. Failure to comply will result in a charge of SEK 3,000.

Hotel Lundia offers Chromecast in all rooms. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need help connecting!
The tap water in your hotel room is, of course, safe to drink.
Please note that outside food and drinks may only be consumed in your room (not in the lobby or restaurant).
Linen Room: On the second floor, there is a linen room where guests can pick up extra duvets, pillows, baby cots, dog beds, fans, and more. The door can be opened with your room key.
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the hotel. A charge of SEK 3,000 will apply if this rule is not respected.

A locked luggage room is available on floor -1. The code is provided at the reception.

Parking is available in the parking garage beneath Hotel Lundia at a rate of SEK 220 per 24 hours. Tickets can be purchased at the reception desks of either Hotel Lundia or Grand Hotel.
Please note that the taxi market in Sweden is deregulated, so it is important to choose a reputable company. We recommend Taxi Grand, phone number: +46 (0)46-97000.

Hotel Lundia's guests can borrow a free gym pass to Nordic Wellness at Lilla Fiskaregatan 21 (about 250 meters away). Entry cards can be picked up at the reception desks of Hotel Lundia or Grand Hotel. Don’t forget to return the card after your visit.
Bicycles are available to borrow free of charge from the reception, subject to availability. Please note that bikes must be returned before the reception closes.

There is a small lounge area next to our bistro with items such as pencils, drawing pads, and a few games. In our lobby, you’ll also find a foosball table and a pinball machine that all our guests are welcome to use.
Grand Hotel’s Summer Cinema for Kids:
During the summer period (June 23 – August 10), we welcome all our young guests to Grand Hotel’s summer cinema in the Piraten Room on the entrance floor. Free admission!

Dogs are welcome if you have booked a pet-friendly room in advance.
Please note that dogs are not allowed in our bar/bistro area.

Enjoy the charming neighborhoods in central Lund. Klostergatan, Lilla Fiskaregatan, and Stora Gråbrödersgatan offer a wide selection of family-owned shops that reflect Lund’s local character. One example is the unique toy store Lek&Sak at Stora Gråbrödersgatan 13. A short walk away, you’ll find the cozy stationery shop Lexis Papper at Klostergatan 3, which was a finalist in the 2024 Retail Awards.
Vinyl lovers will enjoy Lund’s many specialty record shops offering both new and vintage selections. One such shop is Vintage Vinyl Records at Fiskaregatan 4D, open on Saturdays and Sundays, featuring everything from classic rock to modern pop.
These are just a few examples—there is so much more to discover in Lund’s vibrant city center!
Vattenhallen / Lund's Science Center is open Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The whole family can enjoy hands-on experiments and special events.
Kulturen, located opposite Lundagård in the center of Lund, is a museum that spans two city blocks filled with historic buildings and beautiful garden settings. Tickets to Kulturen can be purchased at the reception.
Uppåkra
Just outside central Lund lies one of the largest Iron Age settlements in Northern Europe—Uppåkra. An astonishing 28,000 artifacts made of silver, gold, copper, and bronze have been discovered here. The site offers guided tours and several on-site exhibitions.
Grand Deli
Just a stone’s throw from Hotel Lundia, Grand Deli is a delicatessen and gift shop located at Klostergatan 11. It offers a wide range of handmade and locally produced delicacies. With an impressive selection of fine chocolates, exquisite salamis, premium olive oils, and much more, there is something to delight every gourmet.
